Phone Line Connectivity
Keeping your receiver connected to a phone or high-speed Internet line (if the receiver has an Ethernet port) is the best way to get the most out of your TV. When connected you can order pay-per-view, play games, check the weather instantly and pay your bill. Connecting also lets us talk to your system to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Your installer probably connected your receiver to a line. If not, get hooked up now to a phone line using the dual connection jack (included in your original packaging). If you have a ViP series receiver and a high-speed Internet connection, plug the Internet (Ethernet) cord into the port on the back of your receiver and gain access to DishONLINE. DishONLINE allows you to use your receiver’s Ethernet connection to download movies and TV programs.
