On February 17th, 2009, most broadcasters and stations will stop sending out analog TV signals and will instead convert to a superior digital signal. This change (known as the Digital Transition) means your analog TV will “go dark” unless you act.

If you have an analog TV and receive your TV broadcasts over-the-air using “rabbit ears” or some other form of antenna, you can purchase a converter box such as the TR-40 or sign up with a satellite or cable provider, such as all-digital DISH Network
