| Why do all my recordings go to TV2? When enabled, the Record Plus feature tells the receiver to record to either the TV1 or TV2 location. To disable or change settings, simply press the MENU button, select Preferences and then Record Plus. Why doesn’t my PIP button work for Picture-in-Picture? You have a receiver that has Single Mode and Dual Mode options. Simply change the receiver to Single Mode using the “Mode” button on the front of the receiver. This enables the PIP feature. Why does my TV2 display a moving DISH Network logo that says “Shared View is currently disabled”? Your satellite receiver is in “Single Mode” and “Shared View” is disabled. If you want to watch a program on TV2 that is different than what is being watched on TV1, press the MODE button on the front of the satellite receiver to put it in Dual Mode. Or, if you want to watch what TV1 is watching, while in Single Mode simply enable the Shared View option. Why do I have a snowy screen (or blue or black screen) on TV2? Check to make sure that your TV (and if connected, your VCR) is tuned to the correct channel. At your TV1 location (remote control has green tab), press Menu, System Setup, Installation, Modulator Setup to see the channel TV2 (or VCR) should be set to. Need additional information?
