Technical Summary and Satellite Overview

On December 10, 2008 the Ciel 2 satellite was launched into space from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. This satellite provides leased transponder space from Ciel Satellite Group to DISH Network which provides its customers with core HD and local programming from the 129° WL orbital location.
