This position reports to the Director of Acquisition Marketing and is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies for all DISH Network direct mail and customer referral marketing initiatives. |
| Job Description |
This individual directs a team of managers and specialists and will work with cross functional teams to ensure successful development and ongoing management of marketing promotions and initiatives. The Direct Mail Manager will create and execute on strategies aimed at driving customer acquisition as well as providing tertiary support for our retail and 3rd party marketing channels. Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage and drive the core strategies behind direct mail marketing initiatives including:
- Strategy development
- Prospect selection, including target segmentation and predictive model usage
- Creative development in conjunction with both in house and external creative teams
- Development of go to market strategies for new products and promotions for DISH Network
- Collaborate with internal resources, external vendors and executive leadership in order to implement initiatives with effective results
- Drive proactive marketing initiatives aimed at persuading our 14 million existing customers to refer friends and family to DISH Network using direct mail, email and other customer communications vehicles
- Manage a core team focused on our direct mail and customer referral programs

| Education & Experience |
- BS/BA from 4-year college or university. Marketing degree preferred or related experience. Masters degree / MBA is beneficial
- 8-10 years of marketing related experience – significant experience with direct mail is required
- Extensive team leadership and project management experience
- Experience in leading cross-function teams to achieve results
